Feels Like Flying is the latest single by California’s cosmic rock collective: Earth Moon Earth. The uplifting instrumental music for Feels Like Flying was recorded as a live improvisational jam in their Joshua Tree recording studio (Gatos Trail) and then sent to Jasmine Ash in Los Angeles where she added her brand of dreamy, pop vocalizations. Feels Like Flying features EME founder and producer Dan Joeright (The Rentals) drums, Jasmine Ash - vocals, Jonathan Hischke (Broken Bells) Bass, Rich Good (The Psychedelic Furs) guitar, Esteban Chavez (The Freeks) Synths, Bob Villwock – Keys and Glitch - Theremin.

Reflecting on the process Dan states "We wanted to brighten things up a bit from our past recordings and keep the energy of the live jam session so we wound up sending the original jam tracks to Jasmine who came up with a very intriguing lyric and melody. Feels Like Flying was our attempt to capture the sense of optimistically setting off into the unknown." Jasmine says of the lyric writing process "I sat down to write the lyrics to Feels Like Flying in the middle of 2020 when we were hunkered down at home due to Covid and I just wanted to escape. The track felt dreamy and big and the words just flooded out".
